Good enough for a fancy dinner, this round steak recipe will impress. Ingredients:
1 lb round steak |
1/4 cup sweet onion, chopped |
3 tablespoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon sea salt |
fresh ground pepper |
2 cups freshly chopped spinach |
1 tablespoon garlic |
merlot |
1/2 cup portabella mushroom |
Directions:
1. Pound beef with meat mallet. 2. Sprinkle salt & pepper, onion, garlic and spinach onto meat. 3. Roll meat and fasten with toothpicks. 4. Brown meat in olive oil in skillet. 5. Cover with water cook for two hours or until tender. 6. Remove steak, set aside. Add merlot and mushrooms to gravy and reduce to thicken. 7. Drizzle gravy over beef, serve immediately with brown rice and steamed carrots. |
