2 to 3 pounds round steak |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
2 to 3 sweet onions, sliced |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon granulated sugar |
1 clove garlic, minced |
8 ounces beer |
salt and ground black pepper to taste |
1 bay leaf |
Directions:
1. In large skillet, heat oil. 2. Brown round steak on both sides. Transfer to baking dish. 3. Add onions to skillet and saute until softened. Stir in remaining ingredients. 4. Pour over beef. 5. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours. |
