This savory bread has a scrumptious Italian flair. Warm ,buttery wedges are tasty with a pasta dinner or a simple tossed salad Ingredients:
1-1/2 c biscuit/baking mix |
1 c (4oz) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese |
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese |
1/2 tsp oregano |
1/2 c milk |
1 egg,lightly beaten |
2 tbs butter,melted |
additional parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. In large bowl,combine biscuit mix,mozzarella cheese,parmesan cheese,oregano,mil and egg (batter will be thick) 2. Spoon into greased 9 round baking pan. Drizzle with butter;sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese 3. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 mins. or till toothpick come out clean. Cool for 10 mins. Cut into wedges. Serve warm. |
