Rotel Pimento Cheese Spread, a Classic |

My husband loves pimento cheese sandwiches. The pimento cheese spread that is now sold at the stores has less cheese than he desires. Ingredients:
8 ounces velveeta cheese |
8 ounces philadelphia cream cheese |
16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (i used cracker barrel brand-sharp) |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
4 ounces sour cream |
8 ounces rotel (drained) |
1 tablespoon black pepper |
2 tablespoons sugar |
6 ounces pimientos |
1 ounce tabasco sauce |
1 tablespoon of honey mustard dijon mustard |
Directions:
1. mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, rotel, cream cheese, velveeta cheese, black pepper, sugar, pimentos, tabasco. 2. stir in gradually the shredded cheese until you have it the consistency that you desire. 3. adjust the taste by adding more pepper , sugar or tabasco. |
