A favorite with my family and friends. Great as hostess gift. I have to make a double batch and STILL hide them from my husband. Good on top of salads too! Ingredients:
2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter |
2 teaspoons dried rosemary, crumbled |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne |
2 cups walnuts or pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In large baking pan melt butter in oven and combine with rosemary, salt, and cayenne. Toss with nuts until combined well and spread out into one layer. Bake nuts for 10 minutes and serve warm. 3. These can be frozen and reheated, still frozen, on a baking sheet at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. |
