From Necessities and Temptations cookbook, Austin, Texas. These are tasty nuts with cocktails, and a great food gift. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter |
1 tablespoon ground rosemary |
1 -2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
4 cups walnut halves |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300ºF. 2. Melt butter in a large skillet. 3. Add remaining ingredients and sauté walnuts 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly. 4. Pour walnuts into an oven roasting pan. 5. Bake 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. |
