This syrup is perfect for French toast. Ingredients:
3 (4- by 1-inch) strips fresh orange zest |
2/3 cup fresh orange juice |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup water |
6 small clusters fresh rosemary leaves |
Directions:
1. Boil all ingredients together in a 1-quart heavy saucepan until reduced to about 3/4 cup, about 15 minutes. Cool to warm or room temperature. |
