Rosemary Or Lavendar Lemonade |

Since I grow a lot of fresh herbs I enjoged making this herbal lemonade version. Again don't knock tihis till you try it.! Ingredients:
base infusion |
2 1/2 cups water |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup fresh rosemary leaveas or |
1/4 cup lavendar buds |
lemonade |
2 1/2 cups water |
1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice |
1 cup sugar |
garnish rosemary sprigs |
or lavendar |
Directions:
1. Bring water and sugar to a boil, remove from heat and stir in rosemary 2. Cool to room temperatutre 3. Strain and discard rosemary 4. Pour into a glass pitcher 5. Add the lemon juice and water to the pitcher 6. Stir well and taste for sweetness adding more sugar if desired 7. Refrigerate till well chilled 8. Garnish glasses of the lemonade with sprig 9. s of rosemary 10. Quick lemondae: use a frozen concentrate |
