Ingredients:
3 -4 lbs chicken pieces, skin removed |
1 medium onion, thinly sliced |
1/3 cup orange juice concentrate |
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
3 tablespoons water |
1/2 cup chopped cashews |
hot cooked pasta |
Directions:
1. Place chicken in a slow cooker. 2. Combine the onion, orange juice concentrate, rosemary, salt, and cayenne; pour over chicken. 3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until chicken juices run clear. 4. Remove chicken and keep warm. 5. In a saucepan, combine four and water until smooth. 6. Stir in cooking juices. 7. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. 8. Stir in cashews. 9. Pour over chicken. 10. Serve with pasta. |
