A delcious recipe that combine apples and rosemary together.You'll love the flavor combo Ingredients:
3 apples |
juice of 1 / 2 lemon |
5 eggs |
130 g sugar |
1 tsp baking powder |
150 flour |
1 pinch salt |
grated peel of 1 / 2 lemon |
1 tbs chopped rosemary leaves |
110 g melted butter |
2 tbs water |
1 tbs sugar |
1 tbs finely chopped rosemary leaves |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 180c ( 350F ) 2. Place peeled sliced apples in lemon juice and set aside 3. Beat eggs and sugar till frothy 4. Combine dry ingredients with egg mixture and gently combine in the melted butter 5. Mix all together and place in a greased 24 cm baking pan 6. Evenly distribute on the apples 7. Bake 25 to 30 minutes 8. Near the end of the baking time combine 2 Tbs water, 1 Tbs sugar and 1 Tbs chopped rosemary, bring to a boil and cook till syrupy 9. Pour over cake 10. Bake an additional 10 minutes 11. Serve warm or room temp |
