This is a wonderful company comes to dinner pull out of the freezer dinner. Good for cooking for now too! Ingredients:
8 chicken breasts, halved if desired |
salt and pepper, to taste |
1/4 lb butter |
2 pints sour cream |
1 lb crumbled roquefort cheese or 1 lb blue cheese |
4 -6 garlic cloves, pressed |
Directions:
1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. 2. Brown in skillet on both sides in butter. 3. Mix together sour cream, cheese and garlic. 4. Arrange in shallow baking dish. 5. Pour over cheese mixture over chicken. 6. Freeze. 7. To serve, defrost and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. 8. Good served with buttered egg noodles! |
