Root Beer Float Cream Cake |

This is a great light dessert for summer. A scoop of frozen vanilla yogurt or ice cream is a great garnish to the cake! :) Ingredients:
1 pkg. white cake mix |
1&3/4c. cold root beer; divided |
1/4c. vegetable oil |
2 eggs |
1 envelope whipped topping mix |
Directions:
1. FOR CAKE: 2. Combine cake mix, 1&1/4c. of the root beer, oil & eggs. 3. Beat on low speed for 2 min. 4. Pour batter into prepared 13x9 pan. 5. Bake 350F for 30-35 min. 6. Cool completely. 7. FOR TOPPING: 8. Combine whipped topping mix & remaining root beer. 9. Beat until soft peaks form. 10. Frost cake. 11. Store remaining cake in the refrigerator. |
