My friend gave me this recipes long ago Ingredients:
2 strips bacon, diced |
1 small onion, diced |
2 jars (18 ounces each) baked beans |
1/2 cup root beer (do not use diet) |
1/4 cup barbecue sauce |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
several drops hot pepper sauce |
freshly ground pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon with onion in a medium saucepan until bacon is brown and crisp. 2. Add remaining ingredients. Heat to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, until slightly thickened, 20 minutes |
