Ron's Grilled Peanut Butter Ham (Paula Deen) |

Ingredients:
1 cup chicken broth |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1/4 cup honey |
1 small onion, grated |
1 clove garlic, chopped |
2 teaspoons soy sauce |
1 teaspoon gravy base (recommended: kitchen bouquet) |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
2 center cut ham slices (1 1/2 inches thick) |
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine the broth, peanut butter, honey, onion, garlic, soy sauce, gravy base and pepper. Put the ham in a shallow glass dish, pour the marinade over it, and marinate for 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator. 2. Prepare a charcoal fire. Remove ham from marinade and cook approximately 15 minutes per side over glowing coals. Carve into 1-inch thick slices. |
