I adore porridge type foods, this one I haven't yet made, comes from Norway. Ingredients:
1 liter sour cream |
2 teaspoons salt |
3 1/2 cups flour |
1 liter milk |
250 g butter |
Directions:
1. Heat the milk and cream. 2. In another pan melt the butter add the flour and make a roux. 3. Using a balloon whisk slowly add the milk/cream beating well after each addition of milk so you have a lump free porridge. 4. On a low heat cook the porridge for 10 minutes. 5. Plate up and serve with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled ontop or dried fruits and nuts or strawberries. |
