we in s.a are in the begining of autumn,so its time to bring out all those blankets and of course a nice bowl of warm pudding,njoy!!! Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 tspn baking powd |
125g butter |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup strawberry jam |
50g ground almonds |
syrup |
11/2 cup boiling water |
1 cup sugar |
60g butter |
Directions:
1. sift flour and baking owd 2. rub in butter 3. beat eggs with milk 4. add to dry ingred 5. roll into rectangle,spread jam and almonds 6. roll up into swiss roll,make a few incisions 7. place in dish 8. mix the syrup ingred and pour over dough 9. bake for 45-60 min 10. serve hot with custard |
