Rolled Oats Chocolate Cake |

Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats |
1/2 cup margarine |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons cocoa |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
Directions:
1. Mix 1/2 cup rolled oats with 1 cup boiling water. Set aside, let cool. 2. Cream together margarine and sugar, add eggs, add remaining ingredients and rolled oats mixture. 3. Blend well. 4. Bake 350°F for 30 minutes in an 8x8-inch pan - cool, ice with a chocolate icing. 5. This is a very moist and delicious chocolate cake. Easy. |
