Very Easy to follow recipe Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats |
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup butter |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1 egg, slightly beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup flaked coconut |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. In a medium bowl combine rolled oats, flour, baking powder and baking soda. 3. Set aside. 4. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy; beat in egg until blended. 5. Add Vanilla and coconut, mix well. 6. Add dry ingredients and mix until just blended. 7. Shape into 2-inch balls and arrange on a baking sheet about 2 inches apart flatten with a fork. 8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. |
