A FLAVORFUL CHANGE TO THE DRAB STORE PURCHASED BISCUIT Ingredients:
3 oz cream cheese, softened |
1/8 tsp celery seed |
1/8 tsp dill weed |
1/8 garlic salt |
10 oz can hungry jack flaky biscuits |
sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. HEAT OVEN TO 375. GREASE COOKIE SHEET. IN SMALL BOWL COMBINE CREAM CHEESE, GARLIC SALT, CELERY SEED AND DILL WEED. SEPERATE DOUGH INTO 10 BISCUITS. PRESS OR ROLL EACH BISCUIT TO 40X2 OVAL. SPREAD EACH WITH 1 TSP CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE. STARTING 1/2 FROM THE END, MAKE 2 LENGTHWISE CUTS IN OVAL TO FORM 3 STRIPS. LOOSELY BRAID STRIPS:PINCH ENDS TO SEAL. PLACE ON PREPARED COOKIE SHEET. SPRINKLE WITH SESAME SEED. BAKE AT 375 FOR 15 TO 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. SERVE WARM |
