ROCKY ROADS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hellmann Estate in Lewisville, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
12 graham crackers |
2 cups miniature marshmallows |
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips |
1/2 cup salted peanuts |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Arrange graham crackers to cover the entire bottom of a rectangular pan. 3. Sprinkle marshmallows, chocolate chips and peanuts over the graham crackers. 4. In small saucepan cook butter and brown sugar until dissolved. 5. Remove from heat and add vanilla then pour evenly over the ingredients in pan. 6. Bake 12 minutes in preheated oven then store in refrigerator for 3 days. |
