Dump your storebought Rocky Road and make your own ice cream at home. Ingredients:
1 (3.9-ounce) package chocolate instant pudding mix |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 cup skim milk |
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated skimmed milk |
3/4 cup miniature marshmallows |
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate mini-morsels |
1/4 cup coarsely chopped unsalted dry roasted peanuts |
Directions:
1. Combine pudding mix and sugar in a large bowl. Gradually add skim milk and evaporated milk, stirring with a wire whisk until smooth. Stir in marshmallows, chocolate morsels, and peanuts. 2. Pour chocolate mixture into freezer can of a 2-quart hand-turned or electric freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Pack freezer with additional ice and rock salt, and let stand at least 1 hour before serving. |
