A fun project for kids. Taken from, Women's Day 2002. Ingredients:
1 box (1 lb. 2.25 oz.) devil's food cake mix |
1 1/2 c miniature marshmallows |
1 c mini semisweet chocolate chips |
1/2 c chopped pecans or walnuts |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Line 24 muffin cups with paper or foil liners.
3. Prepare batter as box directs.
4. Add remaining ingredients; stir until well blended.
5. Spoon into lined cups.
6. Bake 20 to 22 minutes until a wooden pick inserted in center of cupcakes comes out clean.
7. Cool in pan on a wire rack 5 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack to cool completely.
