This recipe is from the Rock Bottom Brewery in Ahwatukee, Arizona On 6/23 made a correction for salt and baking powder.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/4 lbs flour
6 tablespoons cheddar cheese, grated
6 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
2 cups beer
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degree F.
2. Combine all dry ingredients.
3. Mix in cheese, peppers, and onions.
4. Add 1 1/2 C beer; mix well.
5. Add remaining 1/2 C beer.
6. Combine thoroughly.
7. Pour into a greased loaf pan.
8. Bake for 1 hour.
