There a different versions of this layered cake, but this is my favorite. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1 cup sugar |
1 stick butter |
1 hershey bar, cold |
3 cups of milk |
8 oz. cream cheese, softened |
1 cup chopped pecans |
16 oz cool whip |
1 large package each vanilla and chocolate pudding (instant) |
Directions:
1. in 9x13 pan, melt butter on stove 2. Add flour and3/4 cup pecans 3. Mix and press to cover bottom of the pan 4. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes and cool 5. Blend 8 oz cool whip, softened cream cheese and sugar 6. Smooth over crust 7. Mix puddings with milk and spread over Cool Whip mixture 8. Spread remaining Cool Whip over puddings 9. Sprinkle rest of pecans on top 10. Shave cold Hershey bar over top 11. Keep refrigerated |
