Roasted Tomato Sauce

An easy pasta sauce that brings out the flavors of summer.
Ingredients:
2 large tomatoes
1/2 yellow onion
2 garlic cloves
1 cup heavy cream
salt, to taste
Directions:
1. Heat broiler to high.
2. Roast tomatoes, onion and garlic until dark but do not burn, these need to be turned often.
3. Let cool.
4. Peel tomatoes and reserve any juices.
5. Place tomatoes, onions and garlic in a blender and process until pureed.
6. Place puree in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
7. Cook for 2 minutes.
8. Season with salt to taste.
