There's no need to get out another saucepan if you make this no-cook sauce. Ingredients:
1 bottled roasted red bell pepper (about 1/2 cup) |
1/4 teaspoon bottled minced garlic |
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1 cup hot cooked basic pasta |
1 tablespoon preshredded parmesan cheese |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil |
1 tablespoon pine nuts |
Directions:
1. Place first 4 ingredients in a food processor. Pulse 15 to 20 seconds or until mixture is almost smooth. Toss with hot pasta. Top with Parmesan cheese, basil, and pine nuts. |
