This ball of two cheeses is packed with flavor, very pretty colors & is perfect as a dip for fresh veggies or a spread for crackers. I sampled it today at my local grocer-it's quite yummy. Recipe courtesy of Central Markets. Ingredients:
2-8 oz cream cheese, softened |
1-8 oz pkg finely shredded cheddar |
1 tsp garlic powder |
1 & 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce |
1/2 jar (9-10 oz size) roasted red peppers, drained & chopped |
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley |
Directions:
1. Using a hand mixer, mix together the 1st 4 ingredients. 2. Stir in the roasted red peppers. 3. Spoon mix onto plastic wrap, and cover with another piece of plastic wrap. 4. Shape into a ball and roll in fresh parsley to coat. 5. Chill until serving time. |
