Roasted Nuts With Mace and Cinnamon (Pistachios or Pecans) |

Nuts roasted with a mixture of mace, cinnamon, sugar and salt. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups pistachios, shelled or 2 1/2 cups pecans |
1 teaspoon ground mace |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon brown sugar |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, heat the nuts over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until they turn golden brown (5 minutes). 2. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ingredients, add the mixture to the nuts, and mix well to coat. 3. Let dry on a baking sheet (can be dried by roasting in oven to speed up process). |
