I love me some nuts! Believe it or not, this is listed as a main course in a vegetarian cookbook. What little we carnivores know! Makes good sense, though, considering the protein that nuts are packed with. Ingredients:
2 ounces almonds |
2 ounces pistachios |
2 ounces pine nuts |
1 garlic clove, crushed |
1 teaspoon rice wine |
1 teaspoon vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon fresh green peppercorn, crushed |
1 teaspoon vetetarian stir-fry sauce |
Directions:
1. Roast all the nuts with the oil and garlic at 350F for approximately 20 minutes, checking for desired brownness. 2. Add rice wine, green peppercorns and stir-fry sauce. |
