I love me some nuts! Believe it or not, this is listed as a main course in a vegetarian cookbook. What little we carnivores know! Makes good sense, though, considering the protein that nuts are packed with.
Ingredients:
2 ounces almonds
2 ounces pistachios
2 ounces pine nuts
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon rice wine
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon fresh green peppercorn, crushed
1 teaspoon vetetarian stir-fry sauce
Directions:
1. Roast all the nuts with the oil and garlic at 350F for approximately 20 minutes, checking for desired brownness.
2. Add rice wine, green peppercorns and stir-fry sauce.
