Roasted Green Beans with Onions |

Flavor roasted green beans with onion, sesame oil, and sesame seeds for a new way to eat vegetables. Ingredients:
1 (12-ounce) package fresh green beans, trimmed |
1 cup sliced onion (about 1/2 medium onion) |
1 teaspoon dark sesame oil |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
sesame seeds, toasted (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 500°. 2. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; toss to coat. Arrange bean mixture in a single layer on a jelly-roll pan. Bake at 500° for 10 minutes; stir beans. Bake an additional 3 minutes or until beans are tender. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired. |
