Use this spread on cracker or with bread sticks. Chill time is not included. Ingredients:
1 head garlic (2-inch diameter) |
olive oil |
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 (2 ounce) jar sliced pimiento, drained |
2 teaspoons dried chives |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Brush outside of garlic bulb with oil. 3. Place in a shallow baking pan. 4. Roast on center rack for 30 minutes. 5. Cool. 6. Mix all other ingredients together and set aside. 7. Remove peel from garlic cloves. 8. Mash garlic using a fork. 9. Add to cream cheese mixture and mix well. 10. Cover and chill at least 4 hours. |
