You can use fresh for a stronger garlic taste. To roast the garlic try Roasted Garlic Spread or Roasted Garlic With Herbs and Olive Oil for a kicked up version of a compound butter. Ingredients:
4 roasted garlic cloves, mashed |
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened |
Directions:
1. Blend the garlic into the butter. 2. Use immediately or roll into a log using waxed paper. 3. Place in a freezer bag and freeze for up to 2 months. |
