I JUST CAME UP WITH THIS DIP AND PLAN TO SERVE IT AT MY WEDDING. TELL ME HOW IT TASTE :} Ingredients:
garlic |
2 whole garlic heads with the botoms cut off, drizzled in olive oil and roasted in the oven at 350* till golden and smooshie, let cool |
onions |
3 spanish onions |
1/4 tsp fresh spanish paprika |
salt n peppa |
4-5 tblsp olive oil for reducing the onions |
1 tsp brown sugar |
the rest |
2 8 0z bricks cream cheese, room temp |
1 8 oz container of sour cream |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. roast the garlic like above and set aside to cool 2. chop onion, oil, and salt and spices to a med hot pan to slowly carmelize, dont rush! 3. add cooled garlic to the cream cheese and sour cream, stir. then add 1/2 the carmelized onion to the dip and stir again. add the remaining onions on top to garnish and for texture, SALT TO TASTE.....ENJOY! |
