Roasted Figs With Honey Yoghurt |

Farm fresh figs, greek yoghurt (honey flavored), spices, toasted nuts, and a drizzle honey. Delicious! Ingredients:
12 fresh ripe figs, halved |
2 tsp - walnuts and almonds, chopped and toasted |
1/2 teaspoon each: ground cardamom and cinnamon |
1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1 1/2 cups greek-style yogurt (greek gods honey flavored preferred) |
honey for drizzling (and flavoring yogurt if plain) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Roast figs for about 12 minutes and let cool. 3. Toast chopped walnuts and almonds. 4. Mix cardamom, cinnamon and clove into honey flavored greek-style yogurt. 5. Stir until well combined. 6. Serve roasted figs with a dollop of the spiced honey yogurt, sprinkle of nuts, and a drizzle of honey. Enjoy! |
