I think this sounds good, with the fennel roasted with lemon and a little sugar . Ingredients:
2 fennel bulbs |
1 garlic bulb |
1 lemon, quartered |
3 t olive oil |
1 t salt , 1 t sugar |
1 pt grape tomatoes |
Directions:
1. core and thinly slice fennel 2. combine with rest of ingredients, except tomatoes 3. roast on baking sheet 500 degrees, about 20 min. 4. toss in the tomatoes, roast until they burst, about 7 more min. |
