This is a great recipe for any time meal...GREAT SIDE!! Heck , It's good all by it's self...My Family and Friends loves it .... Ingredients:

if you are in a hurry ...use the microwave.. and it you don't mind taking the time...do the roasted way. |

corn...( i used boiled corn on the cob.) |
in micro ( i used white and yellow corn/can be in a can or frozen) |
1/4 block of your favorite cheese ( i used american) |
1 tbsp of japaleno peppers...(don't have to use them if you don't want to) |
1 tsp seasoning of your choice (i used slap yo' mama) |
1 tbsp butter |
grits ( i used instant ...4 pouches) |
alittle bell pepper |
alittle white or yellow onion |
water |
Directions:
1. Okay here we go... 2. Micro wave : 3. drain Corn....then .. 4. add seasoning and butter, japaleno peppers,onions, 5. place in micro for about 4 minutes 6. in another bowl : 7. make instant grits like instructed on box. 8. after grits are cooked add 9. cheese 10. and corn mixture... 11. stir...and serve..... 12. NOW THAT IS EASY!! 13. If you use the Roasted Corn 14. after boiling your Corn on the Cob Cut it off the cob and place on a pan that you can use on your grill with your onions, peppers 15. and stir fry .on the grill...... 16. have your grits and cheese ready and add your roasted corn 17. when it is done...... 18. IT IS SOOOOOOO GOOD! 19. That's it....enjoy! we did...... |
