1 can (16 ounces) chickpeas |
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh garlic |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Drain can of chickpeas well. Toss drained beans, garlic, oil and seasonings 2. together in bowl. Spread mixture onto large, shallow pan so that the 3. garbanzos are in a single layer. Put into 400-degree oven for 20 to 30 4. minutes, shaking occasionally. Remove from oven and let cool for a few 5. minutes.These are best served warm. 6. Note: Dried spices may be sprinkled on the garbanzos after roasting to vary 7. flavor. Instead of using fresh garlic, you can sprinkle with garlic powder 8. after removing from oven |
