Crisp/tender asparagus spears with roasted garlic cloves Ingredients:
1 pound asparagus spears |
2 tbs olive oil |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
8 cloves garlic |
Directions:
1. Toss the asparagus spears and whole garlic cloves with olive oil until coated. 2. Toss with salt & pepper and arrange on a baking sheet, not touching, garlic cloves at one end, separate from the asparagus 3. Preheat oven to 350 and roast for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the garlic is begining to turn golden and soft 4. Mash the garlic and toss with the asparagus before serving. |
