Ingredients:
2 pounds fresh asparagus |
2 tablespoons pan drippings from fennel-crusted rib roast |
1 lemon, thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. Preheat broiler with oven rack 3 inches from heat. Snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus; toss asparagus with pan drippings and lemon slices. Arrange in a single layer in a 17- x 12-inch jelly-roll pan. Broil 4 to 9 minutes or until browned. 2. *2 Tbsp. olive oil and salt and pepper to taste may be substituted. |
