Roast Sticky Chicken Rotisserie Style |

Haven't tried this but if it really does taste like a rotisserie chicken..I'm THERE! Ingredients:
4 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons paprika |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1 teaspoon white pepper |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 onions, quartered |
2 4 pound whole chickens |
Directions:
1. In small bowl mix together all ingredients EXCEPT onion and chickens. 2. Remove giblets, etc. from chicken, rinse it and pat dry with paper towels. 3. Rub each chicken, inside and out, with spice rub. 4. Place one onion into the cavity of each chicken. 5. Place chickens in resealable plastic bag OR double plastic wrap. 6. Refrigerate overnight OR at least 4 to 6 hours. 7. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). 8. Place chicken in roasting pan. 9. Bake, uncovered for 5 hours to a minimum temperature of 180 degreesF (85 degrees C). 10. Let chickens stand 10 minutes before carving. |
