Roast Honey Chicken With Apple Cream Sauce |

This is a good dish to serve to company. Ingredients:
4 chicken pieces, maryland |
1/2 cup honey |
3/4 cup apple cider |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
salt and pepper |
1 green apple, peeled and sliced |
1 cup apple cider |
1 cup thickened cream |
2 tablespoons brandy |
Directions:
1. Place honey, cider, mustard, salt and pepper in a bowl. 2. Beat well until combined. 3. Place chicken in a lightly greased baking dish. 4. Pour honey mixture over chicken. 5. Cook chicken 45 minutes. 6. Place on plates. 7. Pour any pan juices in baking dish in saucepan. 8. add cider, apple slices and brandy. 9. bring to boil. 10. Lower heat, simmer until it has reduced slightly. |
