This recipe came from the back of the fresh dill from the grocery store. I happened to have all the ingredients so I tried it and have been making it ever since. I prefer to use 1 cube of the Trader Joes frozen garlic cubes since it is so finely minced, rather than chopping it myself. Ingredients:
3/4 ounce dill, no stem and chopped |
4 boneless skinless salmon fillets, 6 oz each |
1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped |
1 teaspoon sugar |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 tablespoons soybean oil or 2 tablespoons neutral flavored oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425. 2. Mix dill, garlic, sugar, soy and 1 tablespoons of oil, reserve. In a hot non-stick pan add 1 tablespoons oil and sear the salmon filets for 30-45 seconds on each side or until nicely browned. 3. Remove from pan and let cool 5 minutes. 4. Smear all sides of fish with marinade and allow fish to sit at room temperature for at least 1/2 an hour before roasting. 5. Place fish on sheet tray and roast for 5 to 10 minutes. It will appear flaky when done. 6. Enjoy! |
