Ingredients:
2 cups water |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons cream of tartar |
25 ritz crackers, crushed |
1 teaspoon butter |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
pastry for double-crust pie |
Directions:
1. Combine water, sugar and cream of tartar. 2. Bring to a boil. 3. Add Ritz crackers and boil for 2 minutes without stirring. 4. Pour into shell. 5. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. 6. Top with crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. |
