Italian Biscotti Ingredients:
1/2 lb butter (2 sticks) |
2 cups sugar |
6 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon anise extract |
6 cups flour |
1 dash salt |
6 teaspoons baking powder |
1 cup sliced almonds |
Directions:
1. Blend butter until softened with mixer. 2. Add in sugar and mix. 3. Add in eggs and mix. 4. Add in extract, salt, baking powder and flour and mix. 5. Add in almonds and mix. 6. Roll out dough into logs (6 logs). 7. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. 8. Cut logs into slices (Biscotti). 9. Toast slices for 5 min on each side. |
