1/2 cup boiling water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Cream the sugar and shortening. 3. Add the egg and blend well. Mix in the dry ingredients. 4. When well-blended, stir in the boiling water. 5. Pour into a greased loaf pan. 6. Bake for about 35 minutes. |
