Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter or margarine |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
3 cups chicken broth |
1/2 cup milk |
3 cups chopped cooked chicken |
1/2 cup sliced ripe olives |
2 tablespoons chopped pimiento |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
biscuit ring |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large, heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add broth and milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in chicken, olives, pimiento, salt, and pepper. Spoon creamed chicken over Biscuit Ring. Serve immediately. |
