Creamy and Delicious! My sister-in-law is famous for her desserts. This dessert is the best Ricotta Pie I've ever tasted - a must try and easy to make. Ingredients:
1 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter |
1 lb ricotta cheese, whole milk |
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature |
1/3 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3 large eggs, beaten |
1 egg yolk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. Scald milk and butter - let cool. 3. Combine remaining ingredients in a blender until smooth - add cooled milk and butter. 4. Pour into a 9 inch pie plate. 5. Optional - Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top. 6. Bake for 40-50 minutes. |
