This recipe came to me Via the Ellis Island Immigrant Cookbook. It orginates from Italy Ingredients:
2 lbs ricotta cheese |
3 cups breadcrumbs |
2 tablespoons parsley |
1 teaspoon clove |
1 cup romano cheese |
6 eggs |
Directions:
1. mix all ingredients together. 2. shape into balls then flatten. 3. fry in oil slowly until golden brown. 4. drain on paper towels. |
