These are all-purpose drop cookies that my mom used to add anything and everything to - we had Smartie cookies, chocolate chip cookies, raisin cookies, walnut cookies, cherry cookies, and cookies with pretty much anything else you can think of. Read more . As kids we thought we had the best cookies in the world. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 cup brown sugar |
2 beaten eggs |
2 tablespoons milk |
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon soda |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups raisins, chocolate chips, smarties, whatever you like |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs and vanilla and beat well. 2. Mix in milk, flour, baking powder, salt, and soda. 3. Stir in raisins or chips or whatever else you are adding. 4. Drop on cookie sheet and bake at 375 F until cookies spread out and are done - they should be a bit soft because if you bake them too much they will be too hard to chew. |
