Ice cream freezer required. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups sugar |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour, unsifted |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 cups milk |
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
3 1/2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate, broken into pieces |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
4 cups light cream |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, flour and salt in medium saucepan, gradually stir in milk. 2. Blend in eggs, add baking chocolate. 3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils, boil and stir 1 minute. 4. Remove from heat, add vanilla. 5. Beat with wire whisk until mixture is smooth. 6. Chill thoroughly. 7. Add light cream to chilled mixture. 8. Freeze in ice cream freezer according to manufacturer's directions. 9. For firmer ice cream, cover and freeze for several hours). |
